Litigation Associate Attorney (1-3 Years Experience)

Our firm is partnering with a respected Kansas City law firm seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing practice.

This opportunity is ideal for a junior associate who has already been exposed to civil litigation and is looking to deepen courtroom experience, sharpen writing skills, and work closely with experienced trial attorneys in a collegial environment.

Position: Litigation Associate Attorney
Experience Required: 1-3 years
Location: Kansas City, MO
Practice Focus: Civil Litigation (Personal Injury experience preferred)

The Opportunity

Handle a variety of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution

Assist with and independently draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda

Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation

Work on injury-related matters, including personal injury cases (preferred but not required)

Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

Collaborate closely with senior attorneys on strategy and case development

Ideal Candidate Background

1-3 years of experience handling civil litigation matters

Exposure to personal injury or injury-related litigation strongly preferred

Superior legal research and writing skills

Demonstrated professionalism with unimpeachable ethics

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with clients and colleagues

Licensed and in good standing with the Missouri Bar (or eligible for licensure)
