Job Description
Barber Ford is seeking an experienced Automotive Maintenance Technician Team Lead to join
our team in Holland. This is a critical role that combines hands-on maintenance work with shop
leadership. You will be responsible for performing light maintenance services while helping to
oversee the flow and quality of our maintenance department.
The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in automotive service and the leadership qualities
necessary to help a team succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Rotating Saturdays
- No Sundays
Pay
$21.00 per hour.
Work Requirements
- Active Driver’s License is a requirement.
- Ability to commute to Holland, MI.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience in automotive maintenance (oil changes, tires, light repair).
Responsibilities
● Lead by Example: Perform high-quality light maintenance, including oil changes, tire
rotations, and multi-point safety inspections.
● Team Oversight: Assist in managing the workflow of the maintenance department to
ensure timely completion of services.
● Quality Control: Verify that all maintenance work meets Barber Ford and manufacturer
standards.
● Training: Assist in the development of junior technicians, ensuring they follow proper
procedures and safety protocols.
● Communication: Work closely with Service Advisors to provide accurate vehicle status
updates and maintenance recommendations.
● Shop Standards: Ensure the maintenance bays are kept clean, organized, and safe.
Qualifications
● Experience: Proven experience changing oil and performing light maintenance on
vehicles is required.
● Certifications: Bonus points if you are Ford STARS certified or have previous Ford
Dealership experience.
